Meet the Team

Our cleaners are responsible Seattle residents who care about the environment and care about the job they do.  They’re also W-2 employees who earn top pay, 1 week of Paid Time Off, 6 paid holidays, weekly & monthly bonuses, Android phones, AAA memberships, and mileage reimbursement.  We’re proud to be socially responsible and environmentally responsible.

Meet the SGC Team!

Jen started SGC in 2007 armed with determination, passion, and a genuine concern for the environment.  She describes herself as a “Passionate, neat-freak, environmentalist,  vegan, advocate for animals, mom to Sarah, Parker and their dog LuLu, and wife.”  When she’s not working tirelessly or networking, she can be found playing pool as the captain of her APA league.  She even put a pool table in the office!

Wim, Team LeaderWim, Head Cleaner

Wim has been with SGC since March 2009 and is the Head Cleaner. Wim was born in Seattle and grew up mostly in Germany.  He says his favorite aspect of cleaning is helping others.  He loves working at SGC because of the awesome work environment with a culture of acceptance and inclusion, warm and welcoming atmosphere, his fun and friendly co-workers and of course, that it’s a socially and environmentally responsible company. Wim’s passions are learning languages (he speaks many), studying the Torah and playing for Quake Rugby.

JenaJena, Cleaner

Jena has been with SGC since June 2011 and is a cleaner.  As a mother, Jena loves that all the cleaning products we use are kid, pet and earth-friendly.  Her favorite part of working at Seattle Green Cleaner is her teammates, who all work hard to do their jobs well and are some of the friendliest people she’s ever met.  In her spare time, Jena enjoys taking her kids to beautiful Seattle parks and beaches, singing, reading and watching movies.

Nathan is a cleaner

Nathan, Team Leader

Nathan has been with SGC as a cleaner since October 2011 and was recently promoted to Team Leader.  He enjoys cleaning because it’s a cathartic kind of work and it helps turn a house into a home.  He  loves being part of such a great company whose employees embrace a strong work ethic.  “Everyone here really cares about the effort they put into the job.”  Nathan is originally from Kansas and moved to Washington to be part of the Seattle music scene.  When he’s not cleaning, Nathan can be seen playing guitar with his band, Encourager.

Hannah is a cleanerHannah, Cleaner

Hannah has been with SGC since October 2011. Her favorite part of cleaning is seeing the difference she can make in a short amount of time. She also appreciates the physical demands of the job. No stranger to hard work, Hannah loves climbing and skiing Cascade volcanoes whenever the Pacific Northwest weather cooperates. She has summited Mount Rainier 49 times and can’t wait to do it again.

Alicia is a cleanerAlicia, Cleaner

Alicia has been with SGC since October 2011.  A Colorado native, she’s been living in and loving Seattle for two years.  Alicia appreciates the company’s commitment to both environmental and social awareness, and meeting our client’s adorable animals.  With her penchant for sparkly fixtures, she is enjoying her first experience as a house cleaner; and likes knowing that her work affords clients more leisure time in their homes.  She enjoys BBC comedy, reading, Seattle’s music scene, and the public transit system.  Her goals include going back to school in the fashion industry, and more prominently, traveling and working abroad for an extended period of time!

Jenna S

Jenna, Cleaner

Jenna is from Montana but mainly grew up in Hawaii. She loves art, which is also why cleaning is so appealing to her, “because of the “before” and “after” moments” she achieves through hard work and environmentally friendly supplies. In her spare time, Jenna enjoys playing games and working with art through digital and traditional means.
